James Morgan is a versatile and accomplished session musician, who has worked all over the world with a variety of artists across the genres of Jazz, Soul, Funk, Pop & Indie.
His session credits include Raye, Mae Muller, Piri & Tommy, Dan Whitlam, Kwaku Asante, Ten Tonnes, Jamie Hannah, Talia Rae, Chinbundu Onuzo and many more, including his own project Queenstown Collective, with whom he recently played two sold out nights at Ronnie Scott’s.
As a drummer, his live work has taken him to many iconic venues, including multiple O2’s, Koko, Shepherd’s Bush Empire, The Union Chapel & the 606 Club. As well as working as a support act for iconic artists such as Blondie, Bruce Springsteen, Ella Eyre, Corinne Bailey Rae and many more.
Alongside his busy schedule of live work, James is an in-demand studio musician. He has worked with renowned producers such as Mike Spencer & Charlie Andrew’s, and runs his own small studio in Bermondsey that he uses for remote drum recordings.
